WASHINGTON, May 13 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation issued the following news release:
MILLS, Wyo. - The May forecasts indicate the spring snowmelt runoff will be average to slightly below average. Total April through July runoff in the North Platte River Basin above Glendo Dam is expected to be 854,000 acre-feet (af), which is 90% of the 30-year average. Approximately 152,000 af of runoff was received in April.
