BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas, May 11 -- The Texas A&M University System issued the following news release:
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed third-year Texas A&M Law School student Cage Sawyers as the next student regent for The Texas A&M University System.
For the past year, Sawyers has been the student representative on the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. His regents' term will run June 1, 2024, through May 31, 2025.
