Pa. Senate Democrats: Sen. Nick Miller's Payroll Modernization Bill Advances Out of Committee With Unanimous Support

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania, May 11 -- The Pennsylvania Senate Democrats issued the following news release:
The state Senate Labor and Industry Committee unanimously voted to support Sen. Nick Miller's (D-Lehigh-Northampton) payroll modernization legislation, Senate Bill 1026, co-introduced by Sen. Lisa Baker (R-Luzerne-Pike-Susquehanna-Wayne-Wyoming).
SB 1026 allows an employer to elect to use a no-fee payroll debit card as a paycheck for employees.
