LOS ANGELES, California, May 9 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for Central District of California issued the following news release:

A Compton man who led a Southern California-based drug trafficking organization that shipped kilogram quantities of cocaine to Alaska via commercial flights and U.S. mail pleaded guilty today to a federal narcotics charge.
