BURLINGTON, North Carolina, May 4 -- The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources issued the following news release:
A new traveling exhibit, "Making Our Voices Heard: North Carolinians Fighting for Civil Rights," will debut May 7 at Alamance Battleground State Historic Site.
This exhibit tells the stories of seven everyday North Carolinians and extraordinary leaders -- Gertrude Weil, Henry Owl, Joe Lewis, Abraham Galloway, Ronald Mace, Jame . . .
