JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri, May 2 -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release on May 1, 2024:

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources' Drought Assessment Committee will meet at 10 a.m. Monday, May 13, in Jefferson City to continue coordinating a comprehensive state and federal response to drought conditions affecting portions of the state.
