ST. PAUL, Minnesota, May 2 -- Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minnesota, issued the following proclamation:
WHEREAS: The Jewish American community enriches Minnesota's culture through their contributions to science, medicine, law, education, entertainment, the arts, public service, our economy, and more; and
WHEREAS: Traditions and talent of the Jewish American community are celebrated in May to commemorate the first organized Jewish migration to North America in 1654, as refugee . . .
