DENVER, Colorado, May 2 -- The Colorado Senate Democrats issued the following news release on May 1, 2024:
Legislation sponsored by Senate President Pro Tempore James Coleman, D-Denver, and Caucus Chair Janet Buckner, D-Aurora, that would better protect Coloradans against hairstyle discrimination cleared the Senate State, Veterans, & Military Affairs Committee today.
HB24-1451 would expand hairstyle discrimination protections already established under the CROWN Act . . .
