Although they enrolled at BU Law a century apart, Clara Burrill Bruce (1926) and Crystal Hsu ('25) share a similar distinction. Bruce, the sole Black woman in her class, was the first female editor-in-chief of the Boston University Law Review. Hsu, elected to that post this spring by her peers, is the first student of Asian-American descent to hold the Law . . .
