DES MOINES, Iowa, April 26 (TNSres) -- The Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird issued the following news release on April 25, 2024:
In a report issued today, the Iowa Attorney General's Office has concluded that the March 16, 2024, fatal shooting of Tyler Stansberry by Fort Dodge Police Department officers was legally justified. Stansberry charged at the officers from a hiding place a few feet away with a knife in each hand before the officers fired in self-defense.
