AKRON, Ohio, April 24 -- Akron Public Schools issued the following news on April 23, 2024:
Akron Public Schools has taken a noteworthy step by introducing Mandarin Chinese studies in three of its elementary schools: Pfeiffer Elementary School, Crouse CLC and Helen Arnold CLC. This initiative recognizes the global significance of Mandarin, which is spoken by an astounding 927 million people worldwide as their first language.
