State Representative Mack Jackson (D-Sandersville) recently joined Governor Brian Kemp in Athens, Georgia as House Bill 82 was signed into law. Sponsored by Rep. Jackson, this legislation introduces a new tax credit of up to $5,000 for rural healthcare professionals, including physicians and dentists in rural counties, for up to five years of continuous practice.
