CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia, April 20 -- University of Virginia Health issued the following news release:
University of Virginia President Jim Ryan's 13th run in the Boston Marathon was for UVA Health Children's, and it proved to be his most successful ever. Today he will present the more than $52,000 he raised to UVA Health leaders.
Ryan's runs in the 26.2-mile race have now raised more than $100,000 in total.
