OMAHA, Nebraska, April 20 -- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals issued the following news release:
PETA is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction on cruelty charges of the person(s) responsible for wrapping the head and legs of a dog named Leo--a small, tan-and-white Cavalier King Charles spaniel-poodle mix--in duct tape and leaving him in a dumpster. He was found by an employee of the accounting firm Sweet & Associates . . .
