HIALEAH GARDENS, Florida, April 18 -- Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Florida, issued the following news release on April 17, 2024:
Today, on the 63rd anniversary of the Bay of Pigs invasion, Governor Ron DeSantis signed SB 1264, which strengthens Florida's education standards that require teaching on the dangers and evils of Communism.
"The truth will set us free," said Governor Ron DeSantis. "We will not allow our students to live in ignorance, nor be indoctrinate . . .
