DENVER, Colorado, April 18 -- The Colorado House Democrats issued the following news release on April 17, 2024:
The House today passed legislation to regulate Colorado's funeral homes and crematories. HB24-1335 would extend and expand regulations of the Mortuary Science Code to ensure Colorado's funeral homes and crematories are regularly inspected by a state agency. HB24-1335 passed by a vote of 57 to 3.
