WASHINGTON, April 18 -- Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyoming, issued the following news release on April 17, 2024:

U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) today slammed Senate Democrats for unanimously voting to dismiss the Senate impeachment of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas without a full and fair trial as required by the United States Constitution.
