ST. PAUL, Minnesota, April 18 -- Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minnesota, issued the following news release:
Governor Tim Walz and Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan today announced nearly $20 million in grants to build the state's special education workforce. The Minnesota Department of Education has awarded 25 Minnesota school districts, charter schools, and cooperatives with Special Education Pipeline grants to increase the number of special education teachers across the state.
