Senator Susan Collins, Vice Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee and Subcommittee on Defense, secured several funding provisions for Bath Iron Works (BIW) in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 appropriations package. Senator Collins played a key role in negotiating the FY 2024 spending bills, which passed Congress with overwhelming support and were signed into law by the President.
