WASHINGTON, April 11 -- The Democratic Governors Association issued the following news on April 10, 2024:

Yesterday, Attorney General and Democratic nominee for Governor Josh Stein announced the end of North Carolina's backlog of untested sexual assault kits, representing an incredible step towards survivor justice that he's made a core priority since 2017 when he entered office.
