MACON, Georgia, April 10 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia issued the following news release on April 9, 2024:
A Columbus resident with prior felony convictions was sentenced to serve more than 11 years in prison today for injuring a federal officer as he attempted to flee arrest during an investigation into armed drug trafficking in the community.
