UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania, April 9 -- Pennsylvania State University issued the following news:
Thousands of people joined in events hosted by a number of Penn State campuses to observe the solar eclipse on April 8.
Campuses hosted watch events and educational activities to mark the rare event, which last occurred in the United States in 2017.
One campus -- Penn State Behrend -- fell within 100% totality of solar eclipse.
