HONOLULU, Hawaii, April 9 -- The University of Hawaii issued the following news release:
The University of Hawai'i at Hilo will begin the removal of the Hoku Ke'a Observatory on the summit of Maunakea the week of April 15. The decommissioning process that includes the restoration of the site is expected to be completed by August.
