TALLAHASSEE, Florida, April 6 -- The Florida Department of Environmental Protection issued the following news release on April 5, 2024:
Yesterday, Governor Ron DeSantis signed Senate Bill 1638 into law, which directs 96% of the revenue generated from the Seminole Tribe Compact to fund flood control and water quality improvement infrastructure and the continued acquisition and management of Florida's conservation lands.
