WASHINGTON, April 4 -- The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee issued the following news release:
Zach Nunn is touting a visit with Drake University's Head Start program. The problem? He voted to cut funding for Head Start - twice.
This isn't the first time Nunn has jeopardized Iowa's public education. In the state legislature, he voted for precursors to Iowa's deeply unpopular school voucher program that diverts taxpayer dollars to private schools.
