WASHINGTON, April 4 -- The Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of the American Indian issued the following news release on April 3, 2024:
The National Museum of the American Indian, in partnership with the National Archives and Records Administration, will display the Quapaw Treaty of 1818 in "Nation to Nation: Treaties Between the United States and American Indian Nations." The treaty will be installed today, Wednesday, April 3, and will be on view until October 202 . . .
