LANSING, Michigan, March 29 -- Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Michigan, issued the following news release on March 28, 2024:
Today, Governor Whitmer signed legislation that will ensure every child within foster care receives a quality education aligned within the Michigan Merit Curriculum content standards. The governor also signed legislation to update safety standards for child car seats and restraints.
