AUGUSTA, Maine, March 29 -- The Maine Senate Democrats issued the following news on March 28, 2024:
On Tuesday, March 26, the Maine Senate gave unanimous support in an initial vote to a bill from Sen. Tim Nangle, D-Windham. On Wednesday, the Maine House passed the bill with a strong bipartisan vote of 107-36. LD 2101, "An Act to Strengthen Shoreland Zoning Enforcement," would give municipalities effective tools for combating shoreland zone violations.
