JACKSON, Mississippi, March 29 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Mississippi issued the following news release:
A Jackson man was sentenced to 120 months in prison for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon while firing at officers during a high-speed pursuit.
According to court documents, on July 21, 2021, Jerry Shannon McAlister, 47, failed to yield when officers with the Clinton Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop . . .
