WASHINGTON, March 27 -- The U.S. Department of Labor Mine Safety and Health Administration issued the following news release on March 25, 2024:

Inspections identified 58 significant, substantial violations, 2 unwarrantable failures

The U.S. Department of Labor announced today that its Mine Safety and Health Administration completed impact inspections at 13 mines in nine states in February 2024, identifying 207 violations.
