ST. PAUL, Minnesota, March 27 -- Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minnesota, issued the following proclamation on March 26, 2024:
WHEREAS: Since 1978, people in Minnesota have celebrated trees during the month of May, when moderate weather conditions are prime for planting trees across the state; and
WHEREAS: Minnesota's trees play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents, improving air and water quality, providing wildlife habitat, and mitigating the effect . . .
