AUSTIN, Texas, March 26 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release on March 25, 2024:
Governor Greg Abbott today announced Eastman will add an additional manufacturing facility at its existing site in Longview, Texas. Eastman produces specialty materials found in items people use every day globally, like eyewear, cosmetics packaging, medical equipment, textiles, films, coatings, and more. The project will create more than 200 new jobs and approximately $1.2 bill . . .
