WASHINGTON, March 21 -- Rep. Emilia Strong Sykes, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
CANTON, OH -- Today, U.S. Representative Emilia Sykes (OH-13) announced the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded an FY23 SMART grant of $1,975,00 to the Stark Regional Transit Authority (SARTA). SARTA will utilize this grant to equip their transit vehicles with automated driver assistance systems to improve driver safety and prevent collisions.
