Today, Lt. Governor Burt Jones issued a statement on the passage of the Senate substitute to House Bill 301, which would bolster enforcement of Georgia's existing law against sanctuary cities. House Bill 301 would rescind sovereign immunity and immediately cease state funding for local governments that engage in sanctuary policies.
