SANTA ANA, California, March 19 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for Central District of California issued the following news release on March 18, 2024:
A former Orange County tax preparer was sentenced today to 120 months in federal prison for leading multi-year tax fraud conspiracies across three countries, which claimed more than $10 million from the IRS and dozens of state tax authorities in fraudulent tax refunds and led these authorities to lose more than $1.2 million.
