MIAMI, Florida, March 12 -- Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava issued the following news release on March 11, 2024:

As part of Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava's Future Ready Plan, PortMiami has created a workforce development program to support the maritime industry. The initiative includes apprenticeship programs and access to an interactive website for employers and jobseekers. Three, new paid apprenticeship programs will be available for diesel systems . . .
