SCRANTON, Pennsylvania, March 12 -- Pennsylvania American Water, a subsidiary of American Water, issued the following news release on March 11, 2024:

Pennsylvania American Water today announced the start of a $4.3 million project to replace more than 14,500 feet of water main in the city of Wilkes-Barre to improve reliability for customers, reduce service disruptions, and increase water flows for firefighting.
