Penelope Del Bene Named Superintendent of Virgin Islands National Park Units

ATLANTA, Georgia, March 9 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's National Park Service issued the following news release on March 8, 2024:

The National Park Service (NPS) today announced the selection of Penelope "Penny" Del Bene as superintendent of Virgin Islands National Park and Virgin Islands Coral Reef National Monument, effective April 7. Del Bene served as the parks' acting superintendent for four months in 2023.
