CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, March 9 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Iowa issued the following news release:
A man who drove to Arizona several times to mail fentanyl pills to his co-conspirator in Sioux City, was convicted by a jury on March 1, 2024, after a 5-day trial in federal court in Sioux City.
Aki Awou, age 33, from Omaha, Nebraska, was convicted of conspiracy to distribute fentanyl, and two counts of possession with intent to distribute . . .
