SCRANTON, Pennsylvania, March 8 -- Pennsylvania American Water, a subsidiary of American Water, issued the following news release on March 7, 2024:
Pennsylvania American Water today announced the start of a more than $8.2 million project to replace nearly 30,000 feet of water main in the city of Scranton to improve reliability for customers, reduce service disruptions, and increase water flows for firefighting. The project replaces pipe dating back to the 1890s.
