ALGOMA, Wisconsin, March 7 -- The Wisconsin Historical Society issued the following news release:
The Wisconsin Historical Society announces the listing of the Trinidad Shipwreck on the State Register of Historic Places. State Historic Preservation Officer Daina Penkiunas presented the certificate to Brendon Baillod and Robert Jaeke. The shipwreck is located 9.5 miles east of the Algoma Pierhead Lighthouse, partially embedded in the lakebed 270 feet below the surface of Lake Michiga . . .
