EVENDALE, Ohio, March 7 -- GE Aerospace, a subsidiary of General Electric, issued the following news release on March 6, 2024:

GE Aerospace announced today it has reached agreement with Ethiopian Airlines for 16 GE9X engines to power the airline's new fleet of Boeing 777X aircraft, becoming the first GE9X customer in Africa.
