KINGSTON, Rhode Island, March 7 -- The University of Rhode Island issued the following news:
In October 2023, President Marc Parlange announced the University of Rhode Island was embarking on a process to design and adopt a new budget model, called an incentive-based budget model (IBB).
"This new model will empower colleges and departments to set and achieve priorities, provide greater transparency in the budget process, incentivize revenue-generating opportunities . . .
