LAKE CHARLES, Louisiana, March 7 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Louisiana issued the following news release on March 6, 2024:

United States Attorney Brandon B. Brown announced the sentencing of two men in Lake Charles yesterday on drug and firearms charges. United States District Judge James D. Cain, Jr. sentenced the defendants as follows:

Darwin Jose Escalante-Garache, 36, a nonresident of the United States living in Gulfport, Mississip . . .
