WASHINGTON, March 7 -- Sen. John Hoeven, R-North Dakota, issued the following news release:

Senator John Hoeven this week sent a letter, led by Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), to U.S. Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall pressing the Air Force to begin implementing the cold weather special duty pay for servicemembers based in certain locations, including North Dakota. The cold weather special duty pay is a result of a provision the senator supported in the 2023 National Defense Auth . . .
