TALLAHASSEE, Florida, March 2 -- The Florida Democratic Party issued the following statement on March 1, 2024:

Yesterday, Congress came to a bipartisan stopgap agreement to avoid a government shutdown. The final vote in the Senate was 77-13, with all no votes coming from Republican Senators, including Rick Scott. In response, the Florida Democratic Party has issued the following statement:
