U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) issued the below statement on new reporting that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will change course and exempt gas-power plants from the administration's proposed power plant emission rules. Brown had called on the EPA to revise the proposed rule that could have undermined grid reliability, hurt energy workers, and raised energy costs for Ohioans.
