SAN DIEGO, California, March 1 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Customs and Border Protection issued the following news release on Feb. 29, 2024:
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers from the San Diego Field Office ports of entry seized 554 pounds of cocaine, 229 pounds of fentanyl, and 1,650 pounds of methamphetamine, in 42 separate smuggling attempts from Feb. 19 through Feb. 25.
