SACRAMENTO, California, March 1 (TNSres) -- The California Department of Water Resources issued the following news release on Feb. 29, 2024:

The Department of Water Resources (DWR) today conducted the third snow survey of the season at Phillips Station. The manual survey recorded 47.5 inches of snow depth and a snow water equivalent of 18 inches, which is 77 percent of average for this location.
