WASHINGTON, Feb. 29 -- Rep. Ashley Hinson, R-Iowa, issued the following news release:
In September of 2022, Jose Antonio Ibarra crossed the border illegally and was released into the United States on parole due to "lack of detention space."
In August of 2023, Ibarra was arrested in New York for acting in a manner to injure a child. He was released because of New York City's sanctuary city policies restricting law enforcement from complying with immigration enf . . .
